‘’What is this? Raise the curtain! She is about to perform,’’ screams someone from behind.

‘’Okay @Team, I’ve marked short leave,’’ says the HR! ……and everyone laughed!

This is a glimpse of a Friday evening in the office where the HR was asked to act and perform, and all she could think was- Short Leave!

Such is life at DDM i.e DeepDive Media! It is a spot where work and fun go hand in hand, where workaholics are forced to enjoy and where lazy bees are trained to become workaholics! (Up to some extent, we mean!).

DDM Has Lazy Employees You Mean?

Yes! Absolutely yes! If stretching in the middle of the day while being on an office chair is lazy, then yes. If walking around in the pantry while having a burnout is lazy, then yes. If working to meet the deadlines and going for a game round is being lazy, then yes. If waiting for a coffee or a kadak chai is being lazy, then yes. Our employees are absolutely lazy!

But do you know something? Stretching was done because our teammate was working relentlessly at a stretch, burnout happened because he could handle last-minute changes, playing a game was chosen as a reward for meeting deadlines, and coffee or chai was asked to gain energy. This is how life is at DeepDive Media’s office!

But All That’s Visible Is A Chain Of Boring Desks!

At the first glance, all that’s visible is a chain of desks, coloured in white grey hues. We bet you spend 5 minutes in the office and you would be surprised to see colours all around! This is the magic that happens on the office premises.

You would be able to see things beyond those desks. We have an artistic corner that lights up the mood. To add, we have the most engaging spot of the office- Our Dear Pantry! With a foosball table in one corner and a beautiful view from outside, our pantry is the perfect place to laugh, cry, cut birthday cakes, have pizza parties, and gulp in popcorn and noodles. You won’t believe the way we have office lunch. With lush green grass and round tables set in the middle, tiffins aren’t shared, but snatched!

What else would you like to know? How are those boring desks used? Well, obviously to work! But to make it less depressing, indoor plants on the tables, pink and yellow chits on the desks, and drawers to hide snacks have been added! Still, if our mates find it difficult, they can work on bean bags with music in their ears and lappy in their hands! White and grey were only chosen to give peace to the eyes and pretty colours for the rest of the office were chosen to weave magic. So, do you still think DeepDive Media is a colourless or a lifeless office?

So It’s All About Fun? No Work At DDM?

Yes! It’s all about ‘Fun-Work!’ We tend to give an atmosphere where work is fun, not a burden. What is the purpose of having an office that you can’t belong to? Many organisations are process-oriented. But we are goals oriented. This is the mantra that works for us! This is what makes our clients trust us. This is what keeps our teammates motivated and focused. Striking a balance between work and fun is not only our culture but our plan of doing projects. When we work, we dive deeply into it and emerge out of it, all satisfied and de-stressed!

Chinese Whispers In The Office?

Well, no! None of the offices plays it. It’s a complete no for office politics, here! That is why DeepDive Media is a family, not an office. Moreover, we have regular sessions by the Directors for changes and amendments required to make things better. Also, regular feedback sessions and review meetings for the employees happen timely. Because we believe, there is always room for ‘betterment.’

When it comes to working individually, our office isn’t a pro at it. We need not be one! Because we are highly productive and happy as a huge ‘team.’
